Named after the chemist Emil Erlenmeyer, Erlenmeyer flasks are laboratory beakers with a decreasing neck radius. In contrast to Griffin beakers the danger of spilling liquids, e.g. when adding, stirring and mixing liquids, is reduced by the slim neck. VITLAB® Erlenmeyer flasks made of plastic are well suited for storage and cultivation of cell cultures. The DE-M marking is VITLAB’s guarantee that the respective products comply with the German Measurement and Calibration Regulation. The scales of the VITLAB® graduated cylinders are molded into the material and remain clearly visible even after daily cleaning in the dishwasher. The scale structure is also available with a blue embossing. This particularly durable and bright colour makes the reading of the scale easier. Bulb pipettes are the most precise pipettes in the lab. VITLAB® bulb and graduated pipettes are made of high-quality polypropylene and possess an excellent chemical resistance. Plastic pipettes improve safety in the lab: superior break resistance means that the danger of injury is reduced and the products can be used for a long period of time, even in training facilities. Graduated pipettes have a printed scale and can therefore be used with different volumes. Bulb pipettes have a single ring mark (like volumetric flasks) corresponding to a defined volume. In comparison to graduated pipettes, bulb pipettes are even more precise, whereas graduated pipettes offer greater flexibility.
